The Brother MFC-9120CN Printer is a multi-function machine for small workgroups that includes a printer, scanner, copier and a fax all in one unit. It has an adjustable 250-sheet paper tray and a one page manual feed slot without any automatic duplex features. The 35-page automatic document feeder (ADF) lets you copy, fax or scan multi-page documents easily. Moreover, bound documents and magazines can be easily scanned with the hinged cover of the flatbed scanner that along with letter and A4 size documents.

This printer does its printing at reasonable speed of 17 pages per minute for both text documents and color printouts at resolutions up to 600 x 2400dpi. The text prints at good quality which you can easily use for internal business use. But if you are seeking high quality graphics, then this printer does not do a good job. There are issues such as dithering and banding in the images and sometimes uneven ink distribution in the image. You can use it for causal business use but not for any formal reports.

The Brother MFC-9120CN Printer has networking capabilities with the USB 2.0 as well as Ethernet but you cannot enjoy the advantage of wireless connectivity; you will surely need a cable.

The printer is LED based rather than on laser and is a compact designed white and dark blue printer that weighs only 50 pounds. You can save lots of space as it is space-saving machine.
